LizBeth x Studio Inspire Editorial Bridal Concept
I’ve gotten to document more than a few weddings at this point, but my main thing is editorial concepts. With this one, my goal was to combine the two through the use of light and shadow in studio.
Bridal work is generally bright and high key, for good reason. Minimal shadows, even lighting, things like that. I wanted to aim for the opposite.
With that in mind, I collaborated with LizBeth to craft poses that tell a story in a way that typical bridal work does not. There’s contrast in all of the details texturally, so I wanted that same contrast to come through visually.
I got the opportunity to work with Studio Inspire Bridal, a local wedding dress shop, so it was dope to be able to work with actual gowns.
